Cohan and Leslie along with Ari Marcopoulos and Leigh Ledare in a group show curated by Arnd Seibert. Long overdue, Engström's work was nominated for the Deutsche Börse Prize in 2005 and he has published a number of great books, including
Trying to Dance and

Employing a variety of different cameras and an idiosyncratic antique color palette, Engström's largely autobiographical work is pervaded with a melancholy and fragile beauty that is rare.
